Savings for Small Businesses & Nonprofits

The Small Business & Nonprofit Energy Efficiency Program is designed to help customers after they’ve identified the types of upgrades that they would like to make. Your selected Participating Contractor(s) can help make detailed recommendations based on their expertise/area of focus.

If you don’t know where to begin, subsidized energy studies are available through the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA).

We cover up to 70% of the cost of energy efficiency upgrades and up to 50% of the cost of heat pump installation. The exact incentives for your project will be based on the equipment installed, building type, overall project cost, and whether you’re eligible for any bonus incentives that may be available at the time your application is submitted.

In many cases, the incentive is based on the projected energy savings that your upgrade will yield, requiring energy calculations. Your Participating Contractor will perform these calculations and help estimate your incentive amount. How will I get my incentive?

Your incentive will be applied as a discount directly to your invoice.
