Clean Energy Update

New Yorkers are increasingly choosing electric cars, solar panels, fossil-fuel-free heating systems, and other low-carbon technologies. Track progress in New York City and Westchester here and read our Clean Energy Commitment to learn how we are building the energy grid of the future together.

Solar Energy

Our customers have now installed more than 80,600 solar systems totaling more than 728 MW of capacity, driving New York toward its clean energy goals. These customers are lowering their energy bills, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and making the energy grid more resilient by helping meet demand for power at times when the sun is shining.
