About

The Energy Exchange Program provides up to $20,000 in incentives for select Con Edison gas customers to remove and replace current gas appliances with new electric equipment such as:

 

  • Oven and stoves (conventional and induction) 
  • Clothes dryers 
  • Water heaters (conventional and heat pump) 
  • Electric panel upgrades 
  • Fossil fuel equipment/piping removal

You are eligible for this program if your gas service line is due for replacement in the coming years.**

Get Started

Step 1

Submit an interest form and select an approved contractor.

Step 2

Be assigned a dedicated Account Manager to guide you through the process and answer any questions.

Step 3

Receive a free home assessment and upgrade recommendations.

Step 4

The contractor performs the work and submits proof of installation.
Already have your own contractor? They can apply to participate and be approved and onboarded within a week of initial engagement.
